lyrics

[I. OVERTURE]
Conjure tragic severance
A phantom crossed or malevolent?
Lone bequest: vindictive devotion
Enter the spectrum of human emotion

A genesis
Unraveling of schizorealities
Launching retributive motives into
Rationale’s oblivion redux
Antithetical meridian in flux

“To be or not to be?”
An ultimate of relativity
My pursuit of certainty
May feast upon my sanity
Ouroboros feast
In nihilistic mutuality
What shall I unleash
Upon this dance?
I fear reality

The rapt author’s pen, an essence reflective
Mirrors the human condition through narrative
This hand of god’s dreams and nightmares akin
As their vacancy yet gnaws from within

All lexical paths mould destiny
Timelessness in wild emotion
Immortalized through their reverie
With every shedding memory
Enduring lurid our devotion

[II. FRATRICIDE]
Shall lunacy eclipse destiny?
To kill the new decree amidst enmity?
Shall this remedy bring out ecstasy?
Shall a phantom king damnation bring?

Waylaid, crass, and clandestine
I know what vile deeds have befallen
Abhorrent ascension, a parabola
By sin you rise or by virtue fall
But if you can, then fall you will

Cain and Abel, but royalty
I am that hex delivering fate
To taint the meaning of loyalty
Through funerary wedlock disgrace
Foul sin, I am vessel and deliverance
Due fate
Volition to sate

Honor thy father’s memory
As if he never left us
For here he stands before me
Lone specter: night’s conjuring shrewd
Upholding grim conjecture
By his own blood
Slain

Shroud not veracity
To shed a brother’s blood so willingly
Crowned through one tragedy
Covetous fratricide auricularly
Have you no dignity?
Slander commitment incestuously
Thy name is frailty
Thy morals lost, twofold matrimony

A pariah born anew
I know what punishment is due
Waylaid, crass, and clandestine
I know what vile deeds have befallen

[III. RODENTICIDE]
So good to see you once again
Manic facade, a means to an end
One soul to hell saves one heaven
A method to this game of madness
And coupled with a griever’s blackness
May this cloak buy time for me
Mask the scent of a killer to be
Sanguinary plot set in motion
Mastery of human emotion

Two things wicked this way come
Bastille, one ornate yet stark
Thralls to monarchs, knavish fools
Loyal in appearance
Royal adherence rankly abused

Mousetrap solution, medicine potent
Glimpse of conscience to pierce the rodent
Mousetrap solution, medicine potent
Sin and glory of a blood yield’s moment
And thinking makes it so

[IV. CONSCIENCE DOES MAKE COWARDS]
The thousand natural shocks
Must we suffer?
Such is the path we walk
Life grows tougher
Will toil be outweighed?
Best to persist?
Or is the cooler shade
To not exist?

Is to be to suffer?
Time casts strife asunder in
Human emotion’s game

Let the emotions play
In hopes that we may
See what conscience brings
The guilt of a king
Just watch how he cowers
Praying sin be scoured
Faithless worshiping
Won’t negate thy undoing
Let the emotions play
In hopes that we may
See what conscience brings
The guilt of a king
Just watch how he cowers
Praying sin be scoured
Faithless worshiping
Spare your breath
Hark! The raven sings

And churns organs to rupture
Ventricular clutch
Malice aforethought
Martyrs have been basking in the sin

A blade ambivalent
Yet speaking daggers
Apprehensive negligence
With purpose shattered
Crossfire unto Cain
Bloodied mirror
Is loss to be in vain?
Is ultion nearer?

Can faithful be our mother?
Strife casts lives asunder in
Human emotions
Human emotion’s game

[V. ECSTASY]
Death has come spry in me
Coaxed by one’s eulogy

Parabolically descend
Remembrance
Faithlessness
Bitterness
Innocence
Death’s bouquet, one frivolous
Make this bouquet so

My thoughts be bloody
Or be nothing worth

Parabolically descend

Death is due, blind eye sees
Coaxed by two eulogies

[VI. DUELLO]
Poison was the cure
As the goblet fills with gore
Wine of Gods this blood obscures
Let these fluid vices pour
To drown the voices
Of dying, breathing treacheries
Flesh bereft of choices
Through bloodstained lechery

Retribution realized

A melancholic emptiness
Entertaining nothingness
What I am is spawning from
Relics of a time to come
Ciphering philosophy
Swallowing my misery
As it swallows me
In nihilistic mutuality
Curiosity is lost
Never was it worth the cost
Suffering unknowingness
Where either path is meaningless
Dense ephemerality
Wasting my vitality
Feast upon Absurdity
That feasts upon my sanity

How many questions remain unanswered?
Such is the nature of every mortal coil lent
Life as uncertain as death is standard
Parabolic descent to enigmatic end

One and the same, so ends our devotion
To this spectrum of human emotion

[VII. REQUIEM]
Now we die…
My curse is sentience
The tragic severance
The crossed phantom
Was never what it seemed, now we die
